I had the exciting opportunity to redesign the official HCA Marathon 2024 magazine, bringing a fresh, modern look to an event that celebrates both athletic spirit and the cultural heritage of H.C. Andersen. This project involved transforming the magazine’s layout to create a more contemporary and visually engaging format, while still honoring the legacy of the marathon and its connection to H.C. Andersen. Working within established design guidelines, I used bold typography, vibrant imagery, and cohesive design elements to capture the energy of the event. The updated magazine layout offers participants and supporters an enhanced reading experience that reflects the annual marathon’s unique blend of sport and storytelling.
